AAS Crisis Service Accreditation: Setting the Gold Standard in Suicidology
For nearly 50 years, the American Association of Suicidology (AAS) has led the way in accrediting crisis service organizations both in the United States and internationally. AAS is the only accreditation program in the U.S. dedicated specifically to suicidology. This accreditation process recognizes exemplary crisis service organizations and supports others in refining their services to meet our high standards. First Call for Help hold accreditation in both Telephone Crisis Services and Text-Based Crisis Services.
First Call for Help has proudly joined the nearly 200 organizations nationwide that leverage the PsychArmor educational platform to ensure staff and volunteers are better prepared to connect with and support military and Veteran communities. Our agency is Certified as a VETERAN READY ORGANIZATION both in a Non-Profit capacity and a Health Care provider capacity. We are dedicated to ensuring that each Veteran served by our agency has a positive experience in every program that we offer and our agency stands committed serving and honoring them!
